Wonderful winter options have popped up all around the city!
Winter has arrived to the District and with outdoor dining being the best option for a safe, socially distant night out, DC’s restaurants have gone all out when winterizing their outdoor spaces for the pandemic! From igloos to Viking huts and ski lodges, here are some of the best and most interesting options for dining out safely in DC this winter!
1. Fiola
Chef Trabbochi’s fabulous Italian restaurant, Fiola, has just opened its beautiful holiday yurts for outdoor dining. Book a yurt for you and up to 5 other guests to enjoy a 5-course, Michelin-star meal!

Cozy blankets, cocktails and holiday igloos? Yes, please!

3. Hook Hall
Hook Hall has turned its outdoor space into a massive Viking Village with fire pits and cozy Viking huts so you can spend the night in Valhalla!

4. Fiola Mare
Fiola’s waterfront sister has also gone all out for the winter and has set up dreamy igloos for outdoor dining complete with twinkling lights and heaters!

5. Stable DC
Technically not an outdoor option but still great for social distancing! Stable, DC’s only Swiss restaurant, has transformed its indoor space into adorable ski lodges so you can enjoy your raclette and fondues safely!

The four seasons has also set up lovely igloos for outdoor dining and drinking.

7. The Inn at Perry Cabin
This resort located in St. Michael’s, MD, has set up adorable greenhouses throughout its property to make socially-distanced dinners all the more charming and intimate!

8. Del Mar
Fabio Trabbochi’s Spanish restaurant Del Mar has also set up igloos so you can enjoy your paellas a la 2020. The beautiful domes have been installed on the restaurant’s second-floor terrace so you can take in Del Mar’s breathtaking views of the Wharf while having your dinner.

They even have their own Bluetooth speaker!
