Thousands of tulips and daffodils are waiting for you to go and pick your colorful spring bouquet from the fields at Burnside Farms in Nokesville, Virginia.
Burnside Farms opened for its 2023 Festival of Spring on Tuesday, April 4, but make sure to hurry and make your way over to the farm and pick your favorite blooms for the perfect spring bouquet before the festival ends Wednesday, April 26. The stunning blossoms usually hit their peak around this time of year and for three weeks turn this Nokesville farm into a gorgeous flower field reminiscent of the Dutch countryside.
Visitors can picnic and lounge outside its 100-year-old dairy barn or pick their own beautiful bouquet from more than 150 types of tulips and more than 30 types of daffodils. Five flowers are included with each admission ticket, then you can pay $1 per stem for tulips or $1 per 2 daffodils, so you can set up your own piece of Holland in your backyard (or just your flower pot!).
The farm is only roughly an hour from D.C., making it a great spot to get over the post cherry blossom blues and continue basking in the fresh, bright spirit of spring. Not to mention it’s the perfect photo op to keep your social media feeds looking as spring as ever!
