Smithsonian’s National Zoo will be celebrating giant panda cub Xiao Qi Ji’s second birthday on Sunday, Aug. 21. To mark the occasion, at 9 a.m. the zookeepers will treat Xiao Qi Ji and his mother, Mei Xiang, to a special “panda-friendly fruitsicle cake” in their outdoor enclosure for visitors to watch! While the zoo is free, visitors must register for a timed entry pass online here.
