There’s a reason Taylor Swift was ranked as D.C.’s favorite artist in 2022! Now, Maxwell Park in Navy Yard is saying “Look What You Made Me Do,” playing up this Swifty love by partnering with Pop-Up Bae to bring Washingtonians a Bejeweled Christmas.
This holiday pop-up bar draws inspiration from Taylor Swift and “A Christmas Prince,” specifically with its decor of gorgeous strands of jewels and gems glittering from the ceiling, leaving the bar a glistening flurry of blue, silver, and gold. (Think her new song “Bejeweled” come to life.) Wreaths and snowflakes abound, it may not be a “Christmas Tree Farm,” but it’s definitely giving winter wonderland!
The festive decor isn’t the only enticing aspect of the Bejeweled pop-up, though. Adding to the atmosphere, the bar has compiled the ultimate playlist of pop holiday hits and Swifty favorites, consistently pumping through the speakers and spurring patrons to sing along.
Meanwhile, patrons can sip on a variety of themed cocktails, like the “Midnight Rain” espresso martini, the “Cardigan” eggnog shooter, and the “Snow on the Beach” spicy paloma, among others! Traditional holiday cocktails and beverages, as well as appetizers and larger handhelds, are also available.
The bar is first come, first served, but you can reserve one of the bar’s outdoor Candy Cane Greenhouses—complete with heaters and speakers—for $100 per person.
Maxwell Park Navy Yard’s Bejeweled Christmas pop-up is open through Dec. 31 (closed on Christmas Day). To learn more or to make a reservation, please visit maxwelldcwine.com.
