The District is combining exercise and entertainment with WalkingTown D.C.
This nine-day program—running Sept. 17-25—aims to exemplify D.C.’s sights, neighborhoods, history, and walkability with a number of themed and guided walking tours!
With more than 50 tours to choose from, a lot of ground gets covered. People can choose from longer or shorter walks, ranging from long ones on weekends to “bite-size” tours during lunch and “happy hour” tours after work hours.
A variety of sights and subject matter are available to choose from, as well, ranging from art and nature to themed tours covering Capitol Hill Scandals and Mansions of Meridian Hill.
