1. “Alma Indigena”
“Alma Indigena” along Wisconsin Ave. NW in Georgetown depicts an indigenous Wixárika Elder. Created by street artist Victor Quiñonez of Brooklyn, Quiñonez employs a unique blend of contemporary and street art with a flare all his own that he calls “Neo Indigenous.”

2. “Nourishing and Flourishing with Delight”
“If you’re always trying to be normal you will never know how amazing you can be.” This gorgeous portrayal of Maya Angelou, created by Liberia-born artist Eric B. Ricks, is appropriately located on the side of the Maya Angelou Charter School.

4. Maria Miller, 17th and Corcoran NW
A new addition to the District at just over two weeks old, this beautiful mural was created by muralist and tattoo artist Maria Miller. Miller crafted the eye-catching mural for Calle Libre D.C.’s Street Art Festival in collaboration with the Dupont Underground.

4. Red Swan Walls, Alethia Tanner Park
Created by artist duo Hanna Moran and Lindy Swan in 2021, this vibrant mural — and the largest they’ve ever created — is perfectly positioned within Alethia Tanner Park.

5. “The Beauty of Buzzard Point”
Created by artists Kaliq Crosby and Rose Jaffe in 2019, this stunning mural features a number of D.C.’s cultural icons, such as Eleanor Holmes Norton, Chuck Brown, Ms. LaBrand, Frederick Douglass, and Marvin Gaye.

6. “Let.Go”

7. Mi Vida
The Wharf’s popular Mi Vida Mexican restaurant opened a new flagship location on 14th Street NW in Logan Circle on Monday, Aug. 8, with the new flagship’s exterior boasting a vibrant cascade of colors—including multiple shades of pink— created by KNEAD Hospitality + Design.
