D.C. may not be a state, but Washingtonians still have a great sense of community pride, and Unite the District Fest aims to exemplify just that.
From Oct. 7-9 at Audi Field—the new home of the D.C. United soccer team—attendees can celebrate all that the city has to offer.
“Unite the District Fest was a huge success in 2019 and we are extremely excited to welcome the festival back to Audi Field this October,” D.C. United President of Business Operations Danita Johnson said in a press release. “The Nation’s Capital boasts one of the best food scenes in the country and is rich with talented artists and musicians. It’s wonderful to be able to provide a platform for our community to experience many of their favorites in one place, while also trying and exploring new art, cuisine, and drink.”
Interactive art installations and galleries will be open for perusing and admiring, all curated by D.C. United’s Ben Olsen.
Musical performances by local artists and DJs will include top 40 hits and a multitude of genres. The festival will also show off D.C.’s own go-go music, a true tribute to the city and its roots.
Meanwhile, drinks and tastings from a number of D.C. businesses and eateries—such as HipCityVeg, City State Brewery, and Stellina Pizzeria—will be available.
A General Admission ticket starts at $45 and includes all-inclusive samplings of food and beverage, as well as a commemorative sampling cup you can take home.
Premium tickets, starting at $90, all-inclusive samplings of food and beverage, the commemorative sampling cup, access to “special VIP areas,” and “an exclusive tasting” with Audi Field’s executive chef Jalal Bellekat.
