Beautiful cherry blossoms have started to show their fluffy white and pink blooms and they look absolutely gorgeous!
We may be stuck at home and the National Cherry Blossom Festival may have canceled most of its events but that doesn’t mean we can’t still enjoy the beautiful blossoming trees turning DC white and pink. In the eve of peak bloom, the sakura trees have started showing their beautiful blooms.
If you’re planning to go see them for yourself, the NPS advices to go during sunrise and early-morning hours and to spread out to avoid the crowds. But if you’re choosing to stay in and don’t want to miss out on their ephemeral beauty, don’t worry. Take a look at some of the most beautiful Instagram moments the trees have left behind today!
Look at these beautiful mauvy shades of pink!
They’ve exploded into a beautiful bright pink sea of flowers!
Just👏Look👏At👏Them👏Bloom👏!!
The cherry blossoms seem to be practicing social distancing. Still blooming but at a safe distance.
And this bench under the beautiful blossoms seems a great spot for us to practice social distancing as well!
Their magnificent petals have even turned the streets pink!
And honestly, judging by this picture, sunrise cherry blossom watching sounds like a pretty awesome idea…
If the trees are already looking this gorgeous without even reaching peak bloom (😍), we just can’t imagine how gorgeous the will look once they do! Can it be Mar 21 already??
