1. Cinco de Mayo special at Paraíso

2. Festival de Tequila at Karma DC
You heard that right. To celebrate Cinco de Mayo, MVEMNT x A1 events present Festival de Tequila at Karma DC. The venue is a nightclub that transforms into an indoor-outdoor block party for the day. On the menu? Delectable food, hookah, a 360 photobooth and of course, tequila specials. Entry is free before 6pm, and once night falls, prepare for a fiesta unlike any other. DJs and special guests will bring the rhythm to the dancefloor, highlighting some of afrobeats, reggaeton, and hip hop’s hottest artists.
3. Mexican wrestling at Drink the District
Drink the District brings Mexico to DC for Cinco DC Mayo! The event features imported Mexican beer, authentic food, mariachis and DJs — but not only. You’ll get to watch live Mexican wrestling as you enjoy cold cervezas and margaritas galore. And after the show, you’ll get a chance to meet the wrestlers and take home your own luchador mask. 4. Cocktail-making class at Studio 444
If you’re looking for something special to do on Cinco de Mayo, here’s your cue. Studio 444 brings a unique cocktail making class to DC for the celebration. During the 90-minute workshop, you’ll craft five Mexican-inspired cocktails and enjoy light snacks along the way. All ingredients and supplies are provided, including cups and carriers for to-go drinks. You even get to take home a souvenir cup and a recipe booklet to make your new cocktails at home! Speaking of moving: Energy Club hosts an all-levels yoga flow honoring the cultural contributions of Mexico. At the heart of Energy Club’s spacious rooftop deck, you’ll flow mindfully to the rhythms of DJ Thunder Bunny: a yoga session aptly paced to pop, Mariachi and everything in between. 6. Flower Mart at the Washington National Cathedral
To keep the fiesta going, Flower Mart’s iconic floral celebration and outdoor spring festival lands in DC on May 6.
