Experience groundbreaking technological art and explore a magical world of blue with ARTECHOUSE’s newest exhibition.
The first of its kind, digital art space ARTECHOUSE combines technology, science and creativity to create one-of-a-kind immersive experiences. Its latest exhibit, “Crystalline,” has been inspired by the Pantone 2020 Color of the Year, PANTONE 19-4052 Classic Blue. The installation combines state-of-the-art technology and digital tools to whisk you away to a magical world of blue light in which they’ll experience the color in all senses.
It is said that the color blue has calming qualities, bringing peace and tranquility to the human psyche. Inspired by these qualities, ARTECHOUSE and PANTONE seek to explore the color’s properties and connection to the human mind.
“During these unprecedented times as a society we have found ourselves in a new state of existence. Before 2020 even began, Pantone selected Classic Blue as the color of the year because they saw it as the hue to sustain us during a time of change,” said Sandro Keserelidze, co-founder and Chief Creative Officer of ARTECHOUSE. “2020 ended up bringing changes no one expected, making the hue of Classic Blue, and the qualities it represents, more relatable now than ever before. We couldn’t think of a more timeless and timely theme to end the year and launch a new chapter of experiences.”
“Crystalline” delves into the color’s connection with earth and crystals, submerging you in an illusory blue-hued castle where you’ll be able to experience the sights, sounds and sensations of Classic Blue. And don’t forget to check out ARTECHOUSE’s Augmented Reality bar for some delicious multisensory drinks!
To prevent the spread of coronavirus, ARTECHOUSE has reinforced its health and safety measures by implementing limited capacity, online bookings and contactless check-ins, face-covering requirements for visitors and staff, hand sanitizer stations, and more.
The exhibition will be on view until January 3 and is open Monday through Thursday from 12 p.m. until 8 p.m. and Friday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
