A week of deals not to miss out is returning from August 9 to 15!
DC’s annual summer restaurant week is back this week for seven days! With fixed-priced multicourse meals from over 250 restaurants across the city, the summer just got a little better! However, it is important to still keep in mind that the pandemic is still happening. Capacity limits in restaurants have been lifted though, but because of the indoor mask mandate, restaurant-goers will need to keep their mask on until their meal and drinks are served.
Despite this, Mayor Bowser announced in a statement that she encouraged people to enjoy this week’s deals; “Restaurant Week is one more opportunity for people to get out and show our support and gratitude for the workers and local businesses that have sacrificed so much to help us protect D.C. and crush the virus.”
This year, the Restaurant Association Metropolitan Washington announced that multicourse lunch/brunch is $22 per person, and specially priced dinners range between $35 and $55 per person. If you prefer enjoying your meal from the comfort of your home, you can pick it up and take it to go. To-go meals are a little pricier but still include multiple courses and drinks, they range from $60 or $100 for two people, or $100 or $200 for four people.
