Rage Against The Machine Have Dropped Just Another Bombtrack.
And it comes in the form of a 40 date reunion tour. Yes, the Township Rebels are adding to their Coachella headline spots by touring the US, Canada and Europe. They’ll be stomping into Washington D.C Capital One Arena on August 4. [Main Image: @rageagainstthemachine, Instagram].

The Public Service Announcement tour will take them across North America, beginning in El Paso on March 26, all the way through September 10 with a European show in Krakow, Poland. It has also been reported by the Detroit Free Press that full proceeds from the El Paso and La Cruces will go towards immigrant rights efforts.
Hip-Hop duo Run The Jewels will accompany them as support on the bulk of their dates, including DC. Since Rage frontman Zack de la Rocha previously appeared on RTJ track “Close Your Eyes And Count To Fuck”, we might even see the legendary MC hit the stage early for a duo.

These shows will be Rage Against The Machine’s first outings since July 2011, during their previous reunion package. The band shot to fame with their three seminal studio albums that featured searing, politically-slathered rap-metal.
Since 2016, three members of Rage (Tom Morello, Brad Wilk, Tim Commerford) played multiple shows and released music under the guise of Prophets of Rage. This group also featured Chuck D and DJ Lord of Public Enemy fame, as well as B-Real from Cypress Hill.
Crucially, however, this did not feature pivotal vocalist Zack de la Rocha, who has pursued his solo career. Prophets Of Rage has since disbanded following Rage’s reunion.

Most notably, the band will take up the slots of the USA’s largest festival, Coachella, this April. Eyes of the whole world will be on them as they take this stage for the first time within Trump’s America.
We’re sure the band who wrote “when ignorance reigns, life is lost” will have just a teensy bit to say on that.
Tickets go on sale at 11am local time Thursday, February 13. You can purchase them and find more information here.
