Watch the widely-acclaimed musical Hamilton, for just 10 bucks!
Hamilton is coming back to the Kennedy Center for a second round on June 16! Tickets went on sale for Kennedy Center members yesterday at 10 am and they’ll soon be available to the wider public on March 9 at 10 am. But it already looks like getting tickets to the hip-hop musical will be nearly impossible and, most likely, very expensive as well. Don’t despair, however, because if you can’t manage to get your hands on a ticket you still got a chance to win one of their $10 orchestra seat! So don’t throw away your shot at watching the glorious Hamilton just yet!

Although it hasn’t given away any details on how to participate in the lottery yet, the Kennedy Center has announced on its website that it’ll be raffling 40 tickets per performance in honor of Hamilton’s #HAM4HAM tradition!

The tradition started back in the early Broadway days of the musical when the cast and their friends entertained the hoards of people lining outside the theatre for the chance to trade a “Hamilton”–the $10 bill bearing the show’s namesake–for an orchestra seat for the show. Once the days got colder the lottery moved online and the show’s producers have since maintained their end of the bargain holding an online lottery everywhere the show goes.
