What the eff? A new study has found that Washingtonians curse more than the national average.
According to a recent study by Preply, Washington, D.C., ranked in sixth place for the top U.S. cities that curse the most, with the average Washingtonian cursing 22 times per day.
In first place was Columbus, Ohio, where the average resident curses 36 times per day. The study found that on average, a resident of a U.S. city curses 21 times per day.
Younger generations were found to curse more often than older generations, with Gen-Z cursing 24 times per day compared to Baby Boomers cursing 10 times per day. Men were also found to curse more on average than women at 22-to-18 curses per day.
According to Preply, residents of Phoenix, Ariz., curse the least on average, with 14 curses per day.
