Washington, D.C., saw its sky illuminated by a blood moon total lunar eclipse early Tuesday morning—the final full lunar eclipse until March 14, 2025.
The stunning sight dazzled the sky with deep hues of red and shimmering light beginning at 3:02 a.m., reaching a full lunar eclipse around 5:16 a.m., and peaking at 5:59 a.m. But with those early hours, not everyone (sleepyheads, we’re talking to you!) got the chance to witness the beautiful view.
