Bought this for my wife's collection. Honestly, a bit envious. Looks rough and sooty, like it was found in the ashes of a fire.
Gave this to my player who was about to become a lich after 5 years of playing the same wizard in a campaign where many characters had bitten the dust.
(the wizard being one of the only surviving characters, who would've thought they'd see that as a GM....).
Anyways! The player LLLOOOVEEDDD the gift! It was a great succes, and the little card that they sent along with it (a cute little card that fit the whole dark magic theme) only complemented it more. Great stuff!!!!
This large D20 feels great to roll. Plenty of heft to it. Very solid construction. The design of the dice is excellent. The only reason I can't give this five stars, is that some (but not all) of the numbers can be hard to read.
When I bring out this d20, everyone knows that I mean business. Oversized and weighty, it rolls great and adds a satisfying gravitas to a tense moment. I leave it sitting on the edge of the table and only use it for life or death situations to really build the tension. And it looks so incredibly well crafted and intimidating that it really works well.
We love this die, it’s so amazing! It’s so detailed and I love that it looks like it was carved out of rock and freaking blessed by Cthulhu.
